Greystone College Instructors

Greystone College’s instructors come from diverse education backgrounds and bring a range of qualifications, skills and experience into our dynamic classrooms. Our instructors have spent time working in the field and can provide students with both theoretical and experiential knowledge. They are deeply passionate about their subjects, as well as their students’ success!

Business Instructors and their Qualifications

  • MBA degrees with expertise in areas such as Project Management
  • Extensive public speaking, curriculum development and corporate training experience
  • Fluency in a variety of languages
  • International experience in regions like the US, South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India
  • Experience as business owners or as investors, board members, or advisors to businesses

TESOL Instructors and their Qualifications

  • Masters or Undergraduate degrees in areas such as Education, Journalism, English, and Linguistics
  • Cambridge Assessor experience
  • TESL Canada Certification
  • International experience teaching in various countries including Korea, Japan, Burma, China, India, East Timor, Czech Republic and the UK
  • Local experience teaching new immigrants, refugees, children and international students
  • Experience teaching academic and test preparation, business and communication
  • Between 10-15 years of TESOL training experience

Tourism Instructors and their Qualifications

  • Hotel experience in major hotel chains including Ritz Carlton, Westin, Fairmont, and Crowne Plaza
  • Experience in Management or Director roles in the areas of Reservation, Banquet, Conference and Catering, Front Office, Rooms, and Food and Beverage Management
  • Membership with the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) Educational Institute
  • Experience working and teaching overseas in countries like the USA, England, Italy, and more
