Practicum
Trainees first observe real classes, learn to develop lesson plans, then practice teaching with their peers. The
final step is to teach their own classes under supervision of a sponsor teacher. Feedback is given by both the sponsor teacher and practicum supervisor.
Program Description
The objective of our teacher training program is to provide trainees with the skills and knowledge to become successful as an ESL/EFL teacher. It is
designed to help both prospective and experienced teachers. This program is recognized by TESL Canada. Students who successfully complete this program may apply for TESL Canada’s Professional Standard Two certification.
Program Length
12 weeks (30 hours per week)
Class hours:
Monday to Friday: 9am to 4pm (with 1 hour lunch)
